Worked with Highwire Networks in San Jose California on the Great America Pkwy campus as a software migration liason during the Avaya acquisition of Nortel. The lab was given to me to reconfigure, turn back up and migrate databases for extremely important government services as well as corporate customers. Perform keycode generation, software migration to newer releases, test and convert system databases for platform upgrades to US military installations in war zones as well as other high profile entities relying on Nortel Government solutions. Very interesting experience in a lab that was the corner stone of my enterprise PBX background. I played with all the neat things like dongle pressing, the cd software labs, keycode generators, rows and rows of every nortel enterprise PBX there was. I had Surina.us.nortel.com for the cs1000 security zone release 7 migrations which to me was a big deal. I watched the cs1k ini soft boot inside a Linux 'screen' in about 2 seconds, which was astounding compared to the 10+ minutes outside of the Linux environment.

Project was delivered under budget, early and we were invited to the group DUI training sessions where we were used as training subjects for new officers who we're learning how to identify a person driving intoxicated. That was very interesting. Louisiana was a great place with extremely warm and wonderful people.
